Yes this is the best way to do it.. even i was seafrching on my website project to use the database connection with jni.. couldnt find one.. this is good. Is it possible when the JAR is loaded by an applet ?

The location : "location = c.getProtectionDomain().getCodeSource().getLocation();" becomes not good.
